right, right. so if its displayed in base 10 format, that means that if drives are allready fat 32, or Xfat 32, they don’t need to be formatted, unlike other drives that do, but say if I get a new computer, will I need to format the drive again? talking about my exturnal HD
no don’t worie about all that its just the way windows reads it bluse it take a bit of space on what ever drive it sees i guess

it’s because windows displays your storage in base10 format.
